Women - How to Use Follique for Ingrown Hairs & Shaving Bumps

Razor bumps and Ingrown hairs can be caused by hair follicles (often sharpened after shaving), piercing and entering the skin adjacent to the follicle, causing inflammation and a foreign body reaction.  Ingrown hairs are also caused from waxing, sugaring and other forms of hair removal.  As the hair weakens it isn't always able to break through the skin, causing an ingrown hair.

After Shaving:

For best results, use Follique on dry skin after shaving.  You may also experience good results using before shaving if the stings bothers you when using prior to shaving. Follow up with Follique Nourishing Body lotion to lock in moisture.

Use with Waxing/Sugaring/Laser Hair Removal:

Use Follique before waxing treatment to prep the area.  In between hair removal appointments (depending on your skins response) you will want to apply Follique every 2-5 days to keep your skin looking clean, clear and fresh looking.  This will also keep away itching and irritation when the hair starts to grow back.

Follow up with Follique Nourishing Body Lotion if drying occurs. Follique Body Lotion has Collagen, Vitamin E and Cocoa butter in it to keep the body looking young and healthy.

For Existing Ingrown Hairs:

1. Apply Follique only to the areas affected with ingrown hairs, 2-3 times daily.

2. Use Follique weekly to maintain your clear complexion. Do not tweeze ingrown hairs as it may damage the skin and increase the likelihood of more ingrown hairs.

3. If applying to face, apply carefully with a cotton tip and only to the trouble areas.  Follique can be very drying to women's facial skin, apply a very small amount.
